The Tennessee Department of Health will offer free COVID-19 testing at Mt. Zion this Friday & Saturday from 9am – 1pm.
Who can/should get tested?
Anyone who is concerned about their health or the health of their family members can come for testing at these events.
When is testing available?
· Friday (May 29), 9 am to 1 pm, at OHB location
· Saturday (May 30), 9 am to 1 pm, at Antioch location
How much does the test cost?
COVID-19 testing is provided at no cost to the public.
Do I have to live in the county where the testing event is held to get a test? No! Anyone can come to any of these COVID-19 testing events to get a test. You don’t have to live in the county where the event is held to be tested there.
Do I need to call before arriving at the testing site this weekend?
No. You will be directed to designated areas where testing will occur.
Do I have to have symptoms to be tested?
No. You’ll be assessed for symptoms, but everyone who comes to one of our testing events will be tested while supplies last.
What happens during my test?
A nurse will collect a nasal swab for your test. You can stay in your vehicle for the entire process at the drive-through testing events. Your sample is then sent to a lab for testing, and you will be provided with information on how/when results will be ready.
How long will it take for me to get my test results?
Test results may be available within 72 hours after the samples arrive at the lab, depending on lab volume.
