MORE GLORY
COLLEGE SUNDAY
11.08.26
11:15AM CST
OLD HICKORY BOULEVARD CAMPUS
📍 7594 Old Hickory Blvd., Whites Creek, TN 37189
The college ministry at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Nashville represents the heart and soul of the historic church. Started in the early 1990’s, Mt. Zion’s College Ministry has grown to become one of the most recognizable ministries in the Nashville area.
The Mt. Zion College Ministry seeks to provide a positive environment where students will not only excel academically but also spiritually. We are committed to working, worshiping and witnessing.
Each year, Mt. Zion Baptist Church hosts a special Sunday dedicated to celebrating our college students and their achievements. This is a day to rep your school, fellowship, and worship collectively.
This year “MORE GLORY”is a reminder that life is about more than chasing success, recognition, influence, or applause. In a world that constantly encourages us to make a name for ourselves, College Sunday challenges us to shift our focus from building our own glory to living for God’s. Through faith, purpose, and surrender, we’re invited to live in a way that points beyond ourselves to the One who deserves all the glory. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about making our name great—it’s about making His name known.
Soli Deo Gloria. To God alone be the glory.
COLLEGE SUNDAY SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships remain a crucial and important source of financial assistance for college students. Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Nashville officially launched our scholarship program in 2016 with $5,000 in total funding.
This year we are continuing our tradition of supporting higher education, with our annual College Sunday Scholarship. In 2026, we’re providing a 100 students with scholarship money to pursue their dreams, totaling $160,000.
